Dental Social Media Marketing

August 20, 2014 by Charles Payet

The Biggest Social Media Marketing Event in Dental History

G+ Primer for Dentists HOA series

Seriously, this is no exaggeration!  I am so pumped up about this, it’s simply incredible. What began as an innocent question, posed to a FB dental marketing group, has morphed into a star-studded line-up of Google+ expertise, the likes of which has never been assembled in dental marketing before.  I have spent the last 8 months (starting in early 2014) learning from this gang, and what a difference it has made.  From the bare basics, through an introduction to advanced ROI tracking, coaching on networking, web apps to boost your engagement in ways you can’t even imagine yet (these are tools used by Fortune 500 companies), to the future of Semantic Search, Influence Marketing, and Content, it’s all here.

My Guests

With no further ado, let me introduce you to this line-up:

Dr. Charles Payet (me) on Sat. Sept. 6th

I started on Google+ in the beta stage and was one of the first dentists to get a Brand Page.  It took some time and lots of learning, but I’m now just under 6,000 Followers of my Profile and have grown my Page’s Followers from 132 to 450 in just 5 months.  No doubt about it, Google+ is my favorite social media platform, and I’m going to show you why, as well as cover some of the basics of how G+ is different from other platforms, and why you need to be different here.  What can you expect her for your practice, and over what time?  What shouldn’t you expect?  All that jazz, so that when my Guests dive in deeper, you’ll have a foundation.

Martin Shervington and the Plus Your Business Academy on Sat. Sept. 13th

Martin is a consultant, speaker, trainer and coach on all things Google+. As the community manager for both Plus Your Life and Plus Your Business! his role is to support individuals and new businesses to use Google+. Google+ Primer for Dentists Hangout Series

August 12, 2014 by Charles Payet

Have you ever wondered about Google+, the social layer of search, as Google calls it?  Maybe you’ve read a number of news stories on TechCrunch, Gizmodo, or other sites that keep reporting that it’s a “ghost town?”  Perhaps you’ve actually tried setting up your Profile and even a Page for your dental practice, only to have no idea what to do next?  How do you find people to Circle in your Community?  Get them to Circle you back?  How is Google+ similar to Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and how is it different?  If these questions sound familiar to you and you want answers, your opportunity is finally here.
